eTwinning is a framework for schools to collaborate on the Internet with partner schools in other European countries.  eTwinning is the main action of the European Union's eLearning programme.

It promotes school collaboration in Europe through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by providing support, tools and services to make it easy for schools to form short or long term partnerships in any subject area.

Who can get involved?

Teachers of any subject, headmasters, librarians and other school staff. Schools from the European Union. Bulgaria, Norway and Iceland. School in pre-school, primary and secondary education (indicative age bracket: 3 to 19 years old).

You can easily gat involved in eTwinning without going through a complicated application procedure. You must simply register your school, find a partner from a school abroad, and register your project through the eTwinning Portal.

There are no grants or administration connected to the scheme, and face to face meetings are not a requirement. Schools from the European Union, Bulgaria, Norway and Iceland Teachers of any subject, headmasters, librarians and other school staff.
